Collection: Upright Freezers

Every kitchen needs a freezer. Whether it is a single door or a double door you will need at least one unit. You need to consider space and dimensions as these units can be quite deep and project past the other equipment. We offer slimline units if this is a problem. You will also want to consider access into the room as some upright freezers will want tipping to get under the doorway. Once into the kitchen other considerations are how hot the kitchen gets. If you have a really warm kitchen you may want to look at  a freezer with a bottom mounted compressor. Heat rises so a freezer with the compressor on the bottom will have to work less hard to maintain temperature. You may want to also look at climate class of the unit you wish to purchase. As a bare minimum you want climate class 3 and ideally climate class 4 or 5. Look also at energy efficiency as the difference in yearly energy usage between an A rated and E rated machine is massive and will just add to your electricity bills.
