Griddles are flat cooking surfaces that can be used to cook burgers, chicken, bacon eggs, etc. Usually finished in polished steel, cast iron or chrome they come in a variety of widths and depths. Some griddles have the option of having a ribbed section to put branding onto products or bar markings. When selecting your griddle you need to consider whether you want electric or gas, but also how many zone controls you want. For breakfast cooking for example you could have two: one zone on low heat just to start the cooking process and one zone on hot to finish items off as an order comes in.
